SION CAPITAL LLC was founded by Jonathan Kracer. As Managing Principal, Mr. Kracer brings over 18 years of cumulative experience in the hospitality, real estate, consulting, investing and operating realms.

Throughout his career, Mr. Kracer has executed numerous real estate projects for private and public sector clients with hotel, resort, casino, marina, golf, condo-hotel, office, residential, restaurant, parking, and mixed-use developments and investments in the U.S. and internationally, with a strong focus in the Caribbean and Latin American regions.

Mr. Kracer has worked on a wide-variety of hospitality ventures, including projects under the
Marriott International/Starwood Hotels, Hilton Worldwide, InterContinental Hotels Group, Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Wyndham Hotel Group, Choice Hotels, Radisson Hotel Group, Accor Hotels Group, Melia Hotels International, Barceló Hotel Group, Grupo Posadas, AMResorts, and Hoteles City, among other, hotel company brands.

Mr. Kracer obtained his consulting and finance-related skills and knowledge at Hotel Asset Value Enhancement, Resort Development Consultants, and Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels in Miami; Banc of America Securities in New York City; and, Horwath HTL Consulting Asia Pacific in Jakarta and Singapore.

He began his career in hotel operations and management, working at world-renowned hotels and resorts, such as the New York Palace Hotel in New York City, the Amanusa Resort in Bali, the Old Course Hotel in St. Andrews, the Hotel D’Angleterre in Geneva, and the Radisson Beverly Pavilion Hotel in Beverly Hills.

Mr. Kracer attained his Bachelor of Science Degree with Distinction from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and his Swiss Hotel Management Diploma from the Les Roches International School of Hotel Management.

He currently serves as a Member of the Cornell University Council and Cornell University Mosaic; and, previously served as a Member of the Cornell University Committee on Alumni Trustee Nominations, President of the Cornell Latino Alumni Association, Treasurer of the Cornell Club of Miami, and other roles for his alma mater, as well as the past President of the Les Roches Alumni Florida Chapter.

He is fluent in English and Spanish and proficient in French, Italian, and Portuguese.
